Received The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in June 2014. This is the highest award for a volunteer group in the UK and is given for outstanding work in the local community.

Daily walks are for individuals and groups of less than 12 people. For groups of 12-50 people please see the Group Walks page.

Sunday to Friday - 10.30am and 2pm

Saturday - 10.30am only

Additionally May to September: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm

All walks take approximately two hours.

Booking

No booking necessary for individuals.

Group Walks, for groups of 12 and no more that 50, must be booked online in advance. Please click here for details

Physical requirements

The walks take place within the city and are about 2 miles (3km) in length with a gradual climb of about 100 feet (30 metres). The route is not physically demanding and will be taken at a leisurely pace but may include steps and some short slopes. Wheelchair users are welcome and the route will be adjusted to avoid steps but the Guides are not able to assist with moving the chairs.
